Meet Dr. Christina Yuknis

Dr. Christina Yuknis is the owner of Trailblazing Education and is a two-time Fulbright Specialist alum. She has been working in education for over 20 years.

Her experience includes supporting individuals across the entire lifespan from early childhood education to adulthood including the mentorship of doctoral candidates for over 10 years. She has taught middle school, high school, and college students at all levels. Additionally, she led masters and doctoral programs. Her research focuses on disability and access, transition to college, and how to prepare effective teachers to support all students in their classes.

At home, Chris is managed by two adorable shih tzu who hold the keys to her heart. Her friends say she’s resourceful, a connector, and a card game grand master. Chris loves to read and watch TV, and she is always eager to engage in conversations about books and shows.
